SUPPORT SMART HUB is the only center in Romania specializing in prevention and disaster preparedness and training in post-disaster response.
The training we offer is business continuity management with the following objectives:

  1. Analysis of experience in the field of business continuity management business / organization and raising professional standards in the industry internationally;
  2. Highlighting the terms and methodologies presented in the practices of the trade;
  3. Preparing students for the exam for international certification.

The package of knowledge, which will be sent to students during this course will help in broadening their professional experience and enable them to assist decision-making bodies of the organization in the development and implementation of Business Continuity Management (BCM).
Using practical exercises will increase the probability that the program BCM, which will be implemented later, different parts of the program will work coherently in a real event so as to avoid work delays.
The knowledge gained during this course will serve both as a guide for developing, implementing, and maintaining a BCM program as well as a tool for conducting audit an existing program. Using a professional practice to audit an existing program can identify program gaps or weaknesses that can be addressed before an actual event occurs.

The course was conducted and developed by DRI International (Disaster Recovery Institute) and contains a systematized ten step approach:

  1. Initiation Program and Management;
  2. Risk assessment and control;
  3. Business impact analysis / organizations of any type: mayors, ministries and other institutions;
  4. Develop strategies for business continuity;
  5. Emergency preparedness and response;
  6. Developing and implementing business continuity plans;
  7. Workouts and alarm;
  8. Training exercises for implementing continuity plans, audit and maintenance;
  9. The communication system in crisis;
  10. Coordination with state institutions or other external agencies

The course is organized in 12 sessions: 1-action, 10 lessons, one for each stage of business continuity management, 1-summary. The final lesson will end with an online exam to obtain international certificate.

DRR produces specialists in the prevention and recovery in case of events of disasters, thus minimizes as much human and material loss at the organizational level as possible and preserve capital by image.
